Portfolio Previews
Families are invited to come and preview their child’s portfolio on Wednesday, October 14 from 3:30pm till 6pm to get an indication of how they are approaching their learning, along with their opportunities for improvement. At this ‘preview’ you will be able to look at your child’s work samples and read through their self reflections; along with the written feedback that the teacher has offered throughout the portfolio. Please be mindful that at this preview you will only have access to work that was completed in term three and that this event does not include a parent teacher interview. Students will be working hard in term four to continue to build their portfolio.
Grade 3 Phillip Island Camp Information Night
Thank you to all the parents who responded so quickly to our request for student numbers attending the Grade 3 camp in 2015. We have had a very positive response with the numbers which is great to see and we are now working with the camp to plan a range of fun activities.
The information session will be on Tuesday 4th August at 5:30pm in the Performing Arts Centre.
At the session we will provide information about Phillip Island Adventure Resort, the benefits of camp and what activities the students will participate in. There will also be a time for questions at the end. Don’t hesitate to ask your classroom teacher any questions prior to this night. This is for parents/guardians and we ask that where possible, your child does not attend. You can pass any information on to your child to help answer any questions they have.
